Have a tree related question?
We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information.
When is the best time to trim trees?
It’s generally better to avoid the summer heat. Heat can cause stress on the trees. Trees are generally better able to handle the shock of trimming in the cooler months. We are still able to come out and give an assessment any time of the year, even if it’s recommended that we wait to do the work.
What sets Ballwin Tree Service apart from the competition?
We have ISA Certification, are TCIA members, and use a state-of-the-art Grapplesaw truck. Whether you need tree removal, tree trimming, or stump grinding, we can help you. Give us a call today.
What services does Ballwin Tree Service offer?
We offer tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding. If you are looking for tree planting, plant health care services, or other landscape related services, we have relationships with other local companies that we can refer you to.
What should I do to prepare for my service?
Please cut your grass and turn off your sprinkler systems and mark them if possible. You should also make sure your dogs are inside and that all items and objects are moved out of the way. These steps help to ensure that our tree removal and trimming services are safe for your family as well as our team.
How long does your work typically take?
For larger tree removal and trimming jobs, some companies will take several days to complete the work. Because of our equipment and experience, we’re able to complete jobs much faster than some other companies. In most cases, we’re able to complete the job in less than 1 day.
What is an arborist?
The ISA is the International Society of Arboriculture. An ISA Certified Arborist is someone who has been given this credential by passing the Certified Arborist Exam. This exam tests a person’s knowledge of tree biology, tree identification, and various practices within the field of Arboriculture among other things.
How do I know it’s time to cut down my tree?
